CS2 cycleway segregated track under construction

CS2 cycleway bus stop bypass, though the rather angled approach to the cycle track is unnecessarily awkward

Cabbies may be angry about Cycle Superhighways @TimeOutLondon but here is #RantyBoy he loves them @TwoWheelsGoodUK https://t.co/lG7w9LTQDF

Bus stop bypass

Bus Stop Bypass needs to be enabled. Very dangerous and very busy bus stop so cyclists in big danger overtaking 3-5 busses at a time

Bow north around Stratford gyratory to exit onto Romford Road is an absolute death trap. Positioning correctly on Great Eastern Road in order to safely turn into The Grove in preparation to move left into Romford Road is virtually impossibl ... [more]

junction in next to maryland station, often drivers don't respect priority and drive too fast

The cycle path which runs along the pedestrian path here keeps stopping and reappearing. At one point it seems to cross right IN FRONT of the bus shelter where pedestrians are going to be waiting for a bus! How can you have a cycle route ... [more]

Stratford high street/ bow interchange and Stratford gyratory are poor marked out for cycling, competing with huge buses and lorries when there is a wide pavement that could be used. The new solution at bow puts you onto the pavement which ... [more]

I am cross at the disrespect shown for cyclists en route from Hackney to Newham. First our canal routes were completely disrupted and now the safe 'Olympic cycle route' has been totally removed from cyclists at a time when traffic is expec ... [more]

All needs slowing down here... road is very busy when route to westfield open. route past and to the new Tescos would be great. Up the residents!

I am cross at the disrespect shown for cyclists en route from Hackney to Newham. First our canal routes were completely disrupted and now the safe 'Olympic cycle route' has been totally removed from cyclists at a time when traffic is expec ... [more]

Stratford High Street: This is the only route from Stratford to the City. At places it is nightmare for cyclists to negotiate, particularly the Stratford gyratory. There are several lanes in this road so there is plenty of space to put dedi ... [more]

Cars go so incredibly quickly along Stratford High Street, with 3 lanes in each direction, that it is very intimidating for cyclists. There is plenty of room to put segregated cycle lanes. It would be good to encourage all traffic to slow d ... [more]

Always a very busy junction, with the actual junction quite a few metres in front of the traffic light stop line. This gives many cars enough of a run up to think they can overtake you and turn left across your cycle path.

The high street from Stratford to Bow is a very busy cycle route into the City. yet this was completely ignored when the road was re-developed for the Olympics. The road is very wide and there is plenty of space for a cycle lane.

Canning Town roundabout. A huge redesign that does nothing for cyclists. Its on one of the cycleways into the City and the new design actually makes it more dangerous for cyclists. During the construction there has been no provision for cyc ... [more]

A pot hole from hell is near here. You'd think considering this is a good route to the olympics it would be a safe way to cycle.

Stratford High Street should have been massively improved for cyclists in time for the Olympics. Instead there has been enormous ambiguity regarding whether cycling is permitted on the wide pavement between the south side of the street ... [more]

Been caught out a number of times eastbound on this junction - very difficult to get past traffic waiting at the lights, and cars often forcefully force cyclists into the gutter as they pull up to the lights too.

Historically a dabgerous roundabout to negotiate, now subject to a new scheme that does nothing for cyclist safety, leaving cyclists at risk of collision with busses, trucks and cars

Prince Regent Lane - Greengate Street - Plaistow High Street - Plaistow Road - West Ham Lane This is the most direct route from the Royal Docks Enterprise Zone to Stratford and has great potential to be a safer and segregated cycle rout ... [more]

Bow Interchange - Stratford High Street and Gyratory -Romford Road This is most direct way east-west from the City to Stratford and beyond. The roads are wide so there is no real reason not include wide segregated cycle lanes along the e ... [more]

The road here is so wide, there's a real opportunity to extend CS2 as a flagship separate cycle way, in both directions. The local council clearly don't give a stuff, this is a major thoroughfare that's had no thought put into making it ... [more]

Bow Road-Bow Roundabout, Stratford High Street-Stratford Gyratory-Romford Road. Major barrier to cycle movement by less confident riders. There are only a few crossings of the River Lea, and this is an important link for cyclists from Ne ... [more]

Woodgrange road should be semi- pedestrianised with access only for delivery access of motorised & disabled vehicles -wide segregated cycle lanes provided either side of road to provide a more pleasant local shopping experience

Better provision is needed for cyclists on Romford road -car parking restricted or moved off road -propper space given over to cycles -no parking in bike lanes inforced, motor traffic managed (reduced) eg through traffic from Ilford to Bow ... [more]

Stratford high street -It was outrageous CS2 was halted at Bow and did not continue to Ilford -the road between Bow and Stratford is very wide and an opportunity missed during Olympic development that cycle provision was left out -this area ... [more]

I know you have a plan for the Olympic park, but improvement must be done to the whole gyratory (i.e. eliminate it) around the the Station

High St being the 'new greeenway' for the olympics, would be good to have it a viable alternative after they're finished though

This location is a death trap for anyone leaving Stratford High Street. Narrow, fast lanes, full of traffic, and no opportunity at all for cyclists to turn right. I am involved in approximately three near misses at this exact spot each week ... [more]
